In The Lady (www.thelady-magazine.co.uk 13th April 2012) Alison Steadman says that her most treasured possession is “a glass necklace that belonged to my grandmother.  It’s not worth anything but it’s really pretty”.  Impossible to replace and pointless to insure.  Best to have a Homesitter keeping an eye on it…
