August Bank Holiday Getaways

August bank holiday house & pet sitters

Last year national tourism agency[i], VisitBritain estimated that up to 5.1 million Brits would take a break within the UK over the August Bank Holiday weekend, and travel organisation, ABTA, estimated two million Brits would travel abroad.

That’s a lot of people not at home over the bank holiday weekend.

With it being the final bank holiday of the year before Christmas, its likely similar numbers will be planning a last minute escape this year, which means having to find someone to look after pets.

With August being the busiest time of the year for people going away, often family and friends aren’t available, so what can you do?

One solution is to book a homesitter, who will not only look after your pets, but will also ensure your home is occupied, deterring any opportunist burglar.

We have been providing home and pet sitting services for over 35 years and our clients rely on us to always find them a suitable homesitter when they go away. All our homesitters are employed and paid directly by us, rather than being self-employed, as most sitters working for other companies are.

If you book with us you will know that we have interviewed and carried out background checks on all of our homesitters. We also give our homesitters full back-up when they are on assignment 24/7 365 days a year.

If you are planning an escape and are looking for a professional house sitting company to look after your home and pets, please get in touch on 01296 630 730 to discuss your requirements.
