Homesitters Ltd Pet of the Month for March 2025 is handsome Misty.

Misty was dumped on his now owners veterinary daughter Emma's surgery, flea ridden and starving, 2 years homeless. Emma gave him a thorough inspection and treatment, but had to shave off much of his fur as it was badly knotted. In return for a Sunday lunch, Emma brought Misty to his new owners. He resembled a collection of pipe cleaners, and had a very sore stomach. Would he be all teeth and claws? Would he want to go wandering off? No! He is a gentle, very loving, grateful cat, to be seen spread out in luxury on a bed, no need to live in fear anymore. He loves cuddles and sometimes lies up near his owners face to place his paw on their cheek, off to sleep purring.
