With several hundred British people stranded abroad in quarantine in Tenerife[i] and on the Diamond Princess ship in Japan because of the Coronavirus, Homesitters Ltd is highlighting its 24/7 back up service which ensures client’s homes and pets will continue to be looked after no matter what the duration.

With cases rising around the world there is a risk more holidaymakers could be delayed, however Alan Irvine, Managing Director of Homesitters Ltd is urging clients not to worry.

He says, “We offer a back up support service for all our clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Should they get delayed we ensure a continuation of care for their pets. Understandably people are a little concerned having heard of travellers being quarantined for the coronavirus; however we’d like to reassure them that their home and pets won’t be left alone.

“Either the homesitter already in place will extend their stay or we will appoint another to take over, so people’s pets and homes will be safe and secure however long is needed. Our 24/7 back up service is one of the main attractions of using our company, as many other agencies don’t offer this.
