On 8 March 2024, the world will celebrate International Women's Day. This is a day to challenge stereotypes of women, broaden perceptions of what is possible and celebrate women's achievements.

The Prince's Trust #ChangeAGirlsLife campaign harnesses the power of International Women's Day to drive action and raise vital funds to change the lives of young women who are struggling.

Half of young women (54 percent) think the cost-of-living crisis will have a worse impact on their lives than the pandemic.

For the third consecutive year, the Change A Girl's Life campaign is proudly supported by: Dell Technologies

The need for #ChangeAGirlsLife

For many young women, their challenges seem insurmountable. They are trapped in a cycle of poor mental health and unemployment which can be hard to break out of. Our research found 60% of young women say that they are fearful for their future due to the pandemic – but The Prince's Trust is here to help them to look positively into their futures and to rebuild their lives.

The Prince’s Trust Women Supporting Women initiative has been created to help address the challenges young women face. Made up of more than 80 passionate and influential individuals including Chrissie Rucker OBE from The White Company, Julie Brown from Burberry and Christine Hodgson CBE from Severn Trent, the aim of the network is to raise £10 million over the next few years to provide vital support to help nurture, empower and inspire young women to build their own futures through employment, self-employment, education or training.
