Selection process

All of our homesitters undergo an extensive and rigorous screening process. We will carry out a thorough background check, covering the last 20 years, and take employment and character references from previous employers and people of professional or social standing.

Prospective homesitters (and their partners) will be invited to attend a detailed interview at our Head Office, which enables them to meet as many of our team as possible. During the interview, we will discuss your pet ownership history, affinity for animals and pet-care skills, and the types of sits that you’d like to do – it’s vital that we understand our homesitters’ preferences so that we can match them to assignments they will enjoy.
